About
PRACTICE
White SOL Studio is the creative platform of Brazilian-born, London-based multidisciplinary artist and cultural producer Sofia Dawe. With over two decades of practice across art, design, creative strategy and community-driven cultural production, Dawe’s work bridges the intuitive and the experiential.
Rooted in a commitment to shared transformation and embodied presence, White SOL Studio creates art that invites both introspection and collective connection. Through objects, visual artworks, and participatory experiences - ranging from intimate moments to large-scale interventions - the studio crafts experiences designed to deepen awareness.
At the core of White SOL’s practice is a fascination with the edges of perception: exploring how sensory and spatial manipulation can open portals to expanded states of consciousness. Inspired by the energetic interplay between human and non-human worlds, the artist’s work often unfolds in dialogue with nature and the environments we inhabit.
White SOL’s portfolio spans immersive and site-specific installation, participative performance, video, and event-based formats.
CREATIVE PRODUCTION
Alongside its independent artistic work, White SOL Studio also works as a creative producer, facilitating unique creative projects and events for cultural organisations, agencies, communities, artists, thinkers, healers and dreamers of all stripes.
These initiatives often take the form of workshops, public programs, exhibitions, events and experiences which blur the lines between art-making and social practice.
With a strong ethos of experimentation, the studio nurtures creative processes that honour collective intelligence and foster meaningful cultural exchange.
We help deliver projects from concept development and experience design all the way to execution and event management. Get in touch for more info on potential collaborations, we’d love to hear from you!
